Charming Guesthouse with spa like bathroom near the harbor

Great place!

Super cute and cozy for a couple or solo traveler. A lot of new finishes. David was so kind to help us get in town and accommodate our timing with the Alaska Railroad. A great jumping off point for doing the glacier or marine tours which are both very nearby.

A quiet, lovely place to stay the night. David was a helpful host and we enjoyed the new bathroom, comfortable bed, and spotlessly clean facility. We stayed before taking an early morning boat tour to see marine life and glaciers. All around an amazing trip!

We loved our stay at David’s place in Seward. It was clean and comfortable and close to great restaurants. We enjoyed local hiking- Harding Icefield Trails and Caines Head Trail. We also loved the Kenai Fjords tour to Fox Island. Expensive but so worth it! All in all, a wonderful visit to Seward.

David did an amazing job renovating his guest house. It's modern, clean, and very comfortable. Traveling through Alaska, David's place in Seward was the best place we stayed by far.

This is a lovely, cozy apartment stocked with everything you need for a visit to Seward. Apartment was recently remodeled and is impeccably clean. David is a responsive, helpful host. We hope to make it back here someday.

This little house was perfect! It was so clean and new. The shower was amazing and the bed and bedding was ultra comfy! Location superb! Highly recommend and will stay again!!

This place is only 10min walk to the cruise harbor. It was so convenient and we didn’t have to find a parking place near the harbor. It was newly renovated and the interior is very nice, especially the bathroom, which is almost like a spa room. The best part is the creek across the street, where we saw a lot of salmons swimming. It was my first time seeing that. I’m actually willing to pay a separate visit for that and it was just right in front of the Airbnb! It was amazing! The landlord, David, was very nice and friendly. He gave us a can of homemade smoke salmon to take home. It was the best smoked salmon I’ve ever had! I would definitely want to stay here if I’m going to Seward again!

Really great place to stay in Seward. Loved the walkable location and quiet street. Felt very close to everything, but just enough off the main area. The space is beautiful and well laid out. Definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at David's place. The location was awesome, right between Seward's two main downtown areas. Everything was a quick 10 minute walk or you can opt to take the local free shuttle bus. The place was cozy and warm, and exactly as described.. Thanks to David for making our visit to Seward great - we appreciate his warm welcome and the hospitality!

Great stay in Seward!

Very nice place! We made a couch where the table sits for extra seating while watching tv! Very great host.

David’s place is neat as a pin with lots of wood finishes and a beautiful tiled shower. The house features a comfortable queen bedroom and en suite bathroom. There was a space heater to keep the bedroom comfy. The living area is one room with a small but serviceable kitchen - pots, dishes, silverware, tea, and coffee, and a full-sized fridge. There are two leather arm chairs next to the wood stove and tv. The dining area is 2 benches and a table that folds flat to accommodate a futon if needed. It’s a five minute drive to the main drag in Seward and close to the Safeway. It’s also from a stream where we saw salmon and around the corner from a lovely park and trail. David was helpful in directing us to a fishing charter, was very quick and kind in letting us in when I used the wrong lock on the door, arranged to set up The futon for us, and stopped by to tell us about the salmon. Great host, great experience.

We absolutely loved David’s spot and can’t wait to visit again! The location is fantastic, the decor is lovely, and David himself is a fantastic host.

Nice, confortable, small apartment, perfect for a couple visiting Seward

Wonderful Positive: Location was good

Great little cabin, perfect for a two-night stay for my brother and me. It was easily walkable to the marina area for a whale watching tour as well as to lots of restaurants/ bars (we really enjoyed the Cookery & Yukon Bar). Check-in was easy as well and the place was very clean.

We enjoyed our visit to Seward. The area felt safe and the creature comforts afforded by our host are notable. Although not inexpensive, this place a great place to stay.

A great unit located near beautiful Two Lakes Park, a short walking distance from the center of Seward. The place was in great condition and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely stay there again!

David’s listing is the perfect little getaway. Easy to find, lovely space with a great newer waterfall style shower. I would stay here again and suggest other travelers do so.
