Our stay at David's place was great! The location was convenient and you were able to walk to nearby places. The house accommodated our family of 6, providing space and comfort. It was clean upon arrival, which we really appreciated. David was an excellent communicator, making check-in and our entire stay seamless. David is fabulous

David is the ultimate host. He is helpful and so quick to respond. I am not sure there is anyone better. Our rental unit was perfect for our needs. It has a central location with short walks to most anything you need. It was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of snow capped mountains. Seward is a great town to visit with lots to do. There is a free shuttle that will take you to all the key sites. And David’s place is perfectly located. I hope we get to return to Seward one day, and if we do, we will definitely stay at David’s place.

David's place is conveniently located a few blocks from restaurants, shops and the marina with a great view of the mountains. It was very clean and had the basics needed for our group. David was easy to communicate with and was very responsive.

The Halibut house was a great place to stay. Less than a five to ten minute drive from everything in Seward. David was very friendly over the phone and better yet in person! He said staying at the Halibut House is the lucky place to stay if you want halibut and his words were true! We brought up a ton of halibut the next day! We will definitely look to stay there again the next time we are in Seward.

Halibut House was the perfect place to stay after our cruise. Plenty of space and amenities as listed. David was very responsive and super helpful with local recommendations, especially about fishing. Try out the Two Lakes Loop Trail just a couple of blocks behind the home. You can also use the free Seward City Shuttle to get around the town without a car.

David was very friendly and understandable that the place is new to him, but it needs a little work. TV didn’t work and neither did the internet. Otherwise, place was relatively nice.

We absolutely love Seward! Wonderful location. The house had outstanding views.

The Halibut House #1 is a convenient location to the marina and town. Six of us stayed comfortably. David rapidly responded to a kitchen utensil request. Thank you!

An amazing place and host!

How could we ever say thanks enough to this host who met us at the train station and took our bags to the unit for us!!! Wow that was beyond beyond! Then to top it off he offered us fishing poles and taught us how to snag fish!!! Again above and beyond! The units kept us all comfortable and we wished we could have stayed longer.

House was comfortable, we had six people staying but never felt crowded. Easy to ride the shuttle north or south. Great views out all of the windows.

The location was great for us. We were half way between the train/cruise stations and downtown. There were also some beautiful hiking trails nearby that were close enough to walk to. Ride shares and taxis were hit or miss, but David helped us out when we were in trouble. David was very responsive the two times we needed to call him to ask questions. He was very accommodating and kind to us. It was the perfect place for the four of us to stay for one night. We wish we could’ve stayed longer.

We had a very nice stay. One of the main benefits is that the house is within walking distance to the harbor. Then some of the party who wanted to stay at the docks could while others could go back to the house.

We had a great stay at David’s place. It was walkable to lots of restaurants, tours, Kenna’s visitor center etc. Thanks to David’s recommendation, we got to see a lot of salmon at a creek nearby which was quite the sight. Bathroom was well stocked and the views were beautiful. Highly recommend!

Great location in Seward! Walking distance to everything and a couple trails very close too.

Very close to restaurants and the port. After a long day at kenai fjord it was easy to come home and relax. Kitchen was equipped well.

David’s house was a great deal in Seward. It was close enough to walk and get coffee and see the water. You could technically walk to downtown but better with a car. The compound has two other units but we hardly saw the other tenants. The house comfortably fit 4 of us plus a toddler. The rooms are a little tight but we didn’t spend a ton of time at the unit. Check in and check out was easy. Would definitely stay again.

I have a great stay at this place. Walkable distance to lots of great places and restaurants at Seward. Highly recommended.

Great for a group or family stay in Seward. Check-in was smooth, and David is clearly an experienced host. The place was in great condition when we arrived, with nice local art in each room. The living room has a panoramic window facing the water side of town, and the master bedroom has a view of Mt. Marathon. Comfy couches and a well-equipped kitchen were our favorite parts.

A convenient, clean place to stay for seward! Very close To city center and restaurants

It fit the need for a family visiting Seward. The entryway was a convenient place to hang coats to dry and leave shoes, the kitchen had what we needed. The beds were on the firm side.

Great and convenient homein the heartof Seward! Pretty spacious for 3 adults,David was very informative and gave great suggestions while in town. I wish I would of have more time to enjoy the home.
